Giant Mesenterial T.B. gland

Abstract
2 giant mesenterial T. B. gland were experienced, which were very rarely reported in literatures. Even mesenterial T. B. gland had been one of the most common diseases before antimycobacterials available, but still, in part, is common disease yet in this country where the T. B. is not controlled satisfactorily.
From these point of view, these cases were quite interesting.
They, 4 year and 3 months female and 27 year old male, complained of any distress and haven¢¥t any T. B. treatment at all up-to the time of surgery, except for, mass in abdominal cavity which grew insciously so big as-to occupy almost a half of abdominal cavity during 6 and 12months.
In former patient, the gland was incised and drained, then sutured primarily after INH and streptomycine induction in to cyst cavity. In second case, -the cystic gland was able to be removed without difficulty.
They were discharged under the anti -T. B. drugs and are doing well.
These two cases were interesting and give some idea that giant T. B. gland of mesenterium should be reminded whenever we consider intera ablominal benign tumors.
